Why Use the Green Machine
The Green Machine is an environmentally friendly, waterless car washing system that is cost effective and time saving alternative to the traditional and now out dated car wash.

Environmentally friendly, conserving and saving water The Green Machine is a waterless car washing system that uses less than 1 litre of water per wash, saving 200 litres on every wash. There is no harmful cocktail of chemicals afterwards and water is conserved, which is a major environmental challenge of our time.
All in one system, saving time The machine is compact and contains all the products needed for an all-in-one eco-friendly, waterless car wash, including waxing, protecting and polishing in under 25 minutes. Time is saved because the wash involves only one process and leaves out the 'wetting and drying' portion.

Carnauba wax, our special ingredient Instead of water, the Green Machine uses a harmless no-water protectant called Carnauba wax that suspends the dirt from the vehicle so it won't get scratched, as well as waxes and protects the bodywork with a velvet smooth polish. Our Carnauba Wax is water soluble and poses no threat to the environment or the paintwork.
The Green Machine process The wax is sprayed onto your vehicle and immediately lifts the dust and dirt off the surface, holding it in suspension, eliminating the danger of scratching the paintwork. A specially selected microfiber cloth is then used to wipe the excess dirt and wax off. The cleaned surface is then buffed with another microfiber cloth leaving it polished, sealed and protected.

The Machine Pressurised canister and spray for the wax. The canister is pumped by hand to pressurise it and the atomiser provides an easy way to get even but light coverage to prevent wastage. A water container holds the clean water to wash your cloths. A pump empties a small amount into the basin to rinse the cloths. It is then drained into a second container that can be emptied over a sewage drain. Detachable vacuum for cleaning the inside of the vehicle. Special microfiber cloths easily wipe away the wax and buff the car. They are colour coded for each product. There are separate cleaning products for the tyres, windows and headlights. They are all still environmentally friendly products. The cart is on wheels and weights on 28kg to make it easily mobile. It is also compact for easy storage.

About the Wax

Carnauba wax, also known as palm wax, comes from the leaves of a palm native only to the north east of Brazil. The raw wax is obtained from the leaves of the Carnauba palm by beating them to loosen the wax. Carnauba wax is used in a variety of products such as shoe polishes, dental floss, food products, make-up, furniture waxes and surfboard wax. We of course use it to clean your vehicle. We import the raw wax from South America and, once in South Africa, we refine and dilute it to make it more suitable to use on vehicles and fully water-soluble.

Did you know you could clean a dirty car without water?

The waterless car wash system works by simply spraying on, wiping off and buffing to a shine. The waterless car wash products lift the dirt from the vehicle by a process of emulsification; meaning that the spray breaks down the dirt into molecules, surrounds and coats the dirt molecules, lifting them off the surface.

Imagine the process as a Smarty, the coloured candy coating being the emulsification, i.e. the waterless product, and the chocolate centre being the dirt encased.

The vehicle is sprayed with the waterless car wash product, the grains of dirt are covered and the product creates a barrier where the waterless chemical touches the bodywork, not the dirt. Therefore, the dirt is actually coated in the product.
