The rate at which knowledge and the science of medicine advances is sometimes quite scary. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that all this new development is one of the main reasons why medical care and therefore medical costs are escalating out of reach of the ordinary citizen. Equally it does not take much intelligence to realize that it is much more cost effective to prevent an illness or a disease than to try to fix it later. Even the government is catching onto the principles of preventative rather than curative medical practice.
