In 2002 Terry a teacher and Jacqui a librarian for over 20 years decided to opt out of the rat race and find something to pursue their passions.
They went on holiday to Velddrif on the West Coast and fell in love with and bought an original fishermans cottage built in the late 1890's which had been converted to a home and a coffee and craft shop.
Jacqui an avid quilter teaches beginners and Terry restores furniture.

Together they run the coffee shop.

The craft shop stocks local art and crafts as well as locally produced preserves.


Light refreshments are served in the quaint garden which has a fishing lapa and a hollow Bouganvillea which is over 40 years old.

Here you will find Ducks being herded by their Border Collie Kuli who doubles up as the welcome committee to this corner of paradise.
