West Coast Flowers No matter how long we have lived on the West Coast we are always amazed at the resilience of the fynbos. No matter how solid a surface is covering the plant it will break through. The soil before the rain for which we are grateful was as hard as concrete. This made no difference to the bulbs that were due to break through to bring us the joy of the new season.
